Stellan Knowles (he/him)

Youth Advisory Council

Stellan Knowles is a storyteller and creative artist committed to amplifying the lived experiences of trans and queer people. He is a contributor to the Trans Anthology Project and the newly released Future Perfect Project queer youth anthology From Here We Build. His work also appears in citizen trans: trans voices in Trump’s America, where he uses writing as a tool for resistance, reflection, and community-building. In addition to his written work, Stellan was a playwright for Thinking Cap Theatre’s Importance of Being Me, an interdisciplinary art program celebrating LGBTQ+ youth authenticity inspired by the life and works of Oscar Wilde. He was also a proud participant in the TMI Project’s Black Trans Stories Matter. Stellan believes storytelling is a powerful force for change, one that connects people across experiences and helps shape a more just and inclusive world.
